would you go with the bbk equal length shortys w/off road h or
the bbk long tubes with a short off road h

also i was wondering how much more power the long tubes would give me vs. the shortys

the reason i ask is becuase i've heard of some clearace probs with the long tubes, and i was wondering if it was worth the power gains?

I have BBK shorties with H-pipe and converters (soon to be yanked off and replaced with off-road H-pipe) and I too like the setup...nice and clean.

We're running BBK shorty's (not equal length) and an off-road H-pipe and it sounds really good. Cant speak of the HP gain or the install since I didnt do any of it.

It might sound fairly good. You might want to look into an X pipe. They sound deeper than an H pipe. (wish I had one or a prochamber).

I've got the American Thunder exaust and it sounds awesome (IMO only of course) even with the cats. I've got alot of compliments on the sound, can't wait to ditch those cats and get the off-road pipe. That's her treat after she comes out of her winters nap, not to mention that it'll solve my anyoying rattle thats's developed somewhere in the cats.

i've heard the x sounds raspy while the h sounds more like a musle car, my dad has long tubes, off road h and flowmaster amer. thunder cat-back with super 40's on an 03 cobra and it sounds bad a-s-s plus, bbk only makes h's for the fox and i'm loyal to them with the headers and the mid pipe

i have ford motorsport shortys with an offroad h-pipe and dynomax mufflers. i dont care for the dynomax sound but it sounds decent when ya rev it a little or when you have your foot in it. im deffinately gonna go with good ole flowmaster 40s. i dunno what will do with the old mufflers though...lol maybe trading stock for something...neva know. i do have a super 40 laying around..maybe ill just buy a second and try those....they have a bit of a different sound than normal 40s

the super 40's in my opinion are just as good as the original 40's they just are a tad softer. but being a little tiny bit softer they make up becuase the have that mean growl and they really rumble. when my dad starts the terminator they shake the ground and at about 30-70 MPH when you have your foot in it they are LOUD you can hear them inside the vehicle really well too. also you will pick up more HP with the super 40's becuase they have deltaflow technology
