Well I picked the E303 because I want a cam that produces strong low to mid range torque. My car is an auto and has a Lentech street/strip teminator trans with a 1800 rpm stall conv and 3.55 gears. Hence the reason I want strong low end and mid range torque. I check out some of the Lunati cams and the two I like are actually the ones they use in the Systemax system (51026LUN and 51027LUN). I also looked at Crower cams and I like their 15510 cam. Here's the specs:

It's done....I just have to wait for the intake until I pull the other engine out of the car....I decided to put the SVO back together for the MCA show so this one took a back seat until after I got back from vacation.

Specs:
-standard bore 302 with stock TRW forged pistons
-Crane Compucam(same specs as E303)
-Rollmaster billet steel timing chain
-balanced rotating assembly
-Stock E7 heads with some light exhaust porting
-ARP head bolts
-MAC headers
-Explorer GT40 intake
-65mm throttle body

Nothing special...just a good reliable low budget 5.0 good for 250K miles and a little more power than stock....and built good enough to spray it should I desire

Now just to find the time to get it installed....

I swapped in the new engine today and it's running perfectly...the car is back among the living....

Next issue to address is the old Blue paint...

Mine cost $1500 with some goodies like Mallory distributer, new air cleaner and valve covers, and shorty headers, roller rockers, and crane cam. of course aside from the machining my dad and I did it all ourselves.
