LARRY the #projectcar

Hey everybody. I just bought a pretty beat up 1988 Mustang GT from a friend here in San Diego, CA. Body needs to be sanded and painted, so until that happens I'm referring to the GT as AshyLarry. The car looks rough but runs strong and has a lot of potential. Steering is loose and shocks are bouncy. The engine runs strong, sounds great and the transmission and clutch seem to have no issues. I have big plans for this car. This is my first car that I have owned with the purpose of restoring, looking forward to the challenge. Picked the car up on Tuesday, cleaned up and washed yesterday, taking to get smog test today so I can register it. This weekend I am going to start to remove the seats, interior panels and carpets, as well as broken mirrors, sun visors and center console if I can figure out how to. Here are some pics from day 1 of ownership, the GT (Larry) and the ST (Daily).

Your car looks in pretty good shape and all fixable, hopefully you're changing those rear tail light.

How'd it go pulling the interior out?
I've had mine out a couple time for sound deadening.

Had smog issues that I was not looking to pay for to get in legal running order so I sold it to a buddy.
