K&N Air filters

hey guys i have a question about these filters...can u wash them and reuse them or do u HAVE to buy a brand new one? if u can clean them some how what kind of stuff do you use??

Yes you can clean them and re-use them. You have to by the recharge package. It comes with a cleaning spray, and a oil spray. It is a pretty simple cleaning, it takes about a half hour to clean because of drying and stuff. You can find the recharger pack where they sell the filters.

A word of caution:

DO NOT over-oil the element. Follow the directions EXACTLY on the recharge kit. Failure to do so will give you a contaminated MAF, and a world of problems.

^^^ Good Advice... cuz knowing me with being cautious I would over oil it. But so far I just used it according to directions.

The #1 cause of MAF issues is overoiled K&N filters...
