Here's a very to the point webpage with the mustang pics:

I'm not sure what's up with the lighting in the first picture, the rear 1/4 panel IS the same colour as the rest of the car. Unfortunately, I don't have a good picture of the back of the car.

cool, you got rear defroster... <_< wish I had it... have you ever considered color change? not sure anything would go with the tan, but you could swap the interior for black which is what I might do
The rear defrost is nice to have in winter, especially here in Canada! I'd love to have the car repainted since it's quite faded by now. I'd probably keep the original colour, though. While it's not the most aesthetically pleasing colour out there, the "chamois glow metallic" is unusual and makes the car a little bit more unique. That, and the car is pretty much original, and I'd like to keep it that way, within reason. I actually don't mind the interior. It's nice having an interior that matches the exterior colour since manufacturers don't do that anymore.

I found a 289 V8 for sale. Would it fit in my car? What all would I need to buy to make it work, motor mounts etc... Would it be worth the $300 to buy it?
well u can definately get some V8 mounts in a fox parts catalog. shouldnt be too much. other than that and exhaust and radiator, n springs and a bealhousing and flywheel for the trans you should have everything else u need on the 289 ur buying, unless it was a stripped down race motor with on AC or anything. so basically ur gonna need a helluva lotta stuff.
it'd be alot of work for sure to get everything u need. ask me how i know
i say stick with the 6. theres a pretty strong following for that and some classic owners will be sure to let u in on some tips. i've seen em runnin upwards of 300hp.
i say dont go for it, but tahts just me
