I recently bought an '89 GT convert. and was surprised at the lack of what I call interior storage space, like map pockets ? on the seat backs, in the doors, etc. I had an '89 a while back, but I guess I forgot about this.

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys have done, if anything. I have got the double cup holder in the ashtray already.

Do the later door interior panels fit the '89? I notice some have added elastic pockets there.

I couldn't find any, but are there sources where you can easily add behind the seat map pockets? This car has new gray interior leather already. Anything else?

The later panels will fit. Map pockets on them are crap tho. You can put in a set of SN95 seats.
