Yes I am happy about that but
about the rest....."spelt" is not a word...should be "spelled" and "no" should be "know"

I saw a T-shirt once that said "Hookd on fonics werked 4 me!" I wish I would hav bought that now!
Oh and BTW I used to live in Larchmont (Westchester County) NY. The education is way better there than in PA. Mamaroneck H.S. was in the top 50 in the nation. But no I had to move to PA and go to school where the kids in my classes were 2 years behind NY!
I've spent a lot of time in NY....my father was from upstate NY. You can have it...Upstate is nice but I can't stand NY or NJ. When I had to attend trade shows in NYC I hated it....PA is a little backwoods in a lot of areas but still nice...except the fact that all the roads suck

Saying the roads stink in Pa is a compliment. I've seen dirt roads that are smoother than the higways here.

Doug, have you ever installed, owned or driven a Vortech powered Mustang? I don't think your qualified to give a thumbs up or down until you do
.I've owned 2 and installed many more. I also own Turbocharged cars as well....they are different beasts. I just think you need to gain experience before you attempt to guide others in their decisions....reading is not what I would call "experience".

OK, oil tap BS....let's see...you are all into turbochargers and they also must have an oil return tapped into the pan...so are you now going to say that turbochargers are no good?!? This is my example of lack of experience/knowledge....First you must learn what you are talking about in order to be able to have an intelligent conversation and back up your opinion of a product or part.

Let's do it!! The Alaskan people want the jobs and it can be done without hurting wildlife contrary to what the tree huggers want everyone to believe.
But everyone is just sitting back and accepting it...if people would make a few changes and conserve a bit it might help out but they just keep paying the price....and it trickles down to everything else. Fuel surcharges from trucking companies are raising the price of everything out there.
it is 2.39 a gallon here for 87 octane
gas- $1.03 a gallon
tax- everything over that, so we are paying more tax than fuel cost
Paul, i try to learn and i do all i can to know about cars, so let me be......
how much is race fuel these days?

The best thing I can tell you is to not believe everything you read....some is good and some is bad.
You have a jumpstart on me in that I started with cars at age 15...my first car was a 68 Mustang and I only had a pair of vice grips. My engine locked up and I couldn't afford to pay someone to fix it so I had to start learning. I started hanging around a couple of people that were key in my eduction on cars...one was in the Mustang parts business and the other a body & paint guy. I have a BS degree in Business marketing but my livelyhood is that I own/run a performance/restoration shop...all of my auto education came from hands on and observation. To this day I still won't recommend something if I have never used it or had direct experience. I will discuss something but unless I have direct knowledge I won't tell someone to do it.
oic, i have no hands on ability, i helped my dad put a posi rear in his dodge ram and stuff, but i try and i talk to friends and people i no about their expierence and thats what i post, i dont try to come across as a bad guy, but i do try to help others.
I know you mean well....my point lies in what you recommend. You see everyone has different tastes and desires. Like when you recommend 4.10 gears just as an instinctive answer....you have to factor in what that person wants and what the car is used for, just telling someone to put in 4.10 gears when you don't know what their goals, plans or objectives are is not helping them...you don't want to mislead people despite the good intention. Building a car is not cut and dry and what works for one person may not work for another. Take the time to get to know the person first.
