ahhh, interesting. Kinda like how i like tubbed out dropped on the ground drag cars and u think they are a chopping of a beautiful car. i understand now...

Not exactly but close.....I don't consider them "chopping of a beautiful car".....I like to see an occasional Pro Street or tubbed race car but I find them useless since my interests lie in handling...but I can still appreciate them and the work that goes into them. The owners of those cars are in the same hobby I am....just a different area.

The whole essence of owning a car is making it your own....how you do that is your choice...

I used to be bad about hating anything that wasn't a V-8 because i thought of them all as ricers. I've had to learn to accept that different people have different views and even though I would never drive a 4 banger for fun, they deserve my respect just the same.

I still don't have the best attitude, but as long as a car is not riced out I don't look down upon it. As far as ricers I understand your opinion Paul. If they like it and think it looks good, i'm happy for them, but if they think its fast because it has a fart can then shame on them. :nono:

That's exactly it.....I too still look down upon ricers or even other cars that have grossly ridiculous mods to them but I also realize it is my opinion and that others may not like what I do.

I do think it is ridiculous to add a GIANT muffler on a 1.25" diameter pipe...you only flow as much as your smallest opening so that is just a stupid modification but if one likes a cantelope launcher under their rear bumper then more power to them!

The "ricer" word gets thrown around so much it seems sometimes I'm viewing a Import Fan Forum.
