i recently purchased a fiberglass cowl hood, and was looking to replace the stock prop rod with some gas charged struts, any recomondations on what to go with........

 

Most of the hood lift kits that you can get from any mustang supplier say they will work with fiberglass hoods. There is a plate that you have to use but, it is in the kit and the instructions are pretty clear on what you need to do. They are available from just about everyone.
