only 100k for $400. Not bad at all. The 2.3L run really well in the snow. I used to go everywhere with it.
I personally would leave it stock. Converting from a 2.3 to a 5.0 is a lot of work and a lot of $$$. You would need to change out the rear, get a new trans (probably), new wiring harness, new computer module, new fuel pump, stiffen up the chassis, new suspension to handle the weight and so on and so on... to do it correctly of course.
If you absolutely wanted to mod it, the 2.3L to an SVO 2.3L turbo engine will be an easier mod.
The only thing I did was add a high performance camshaft to mine, you will notice a difference with that but everything cost money and your T-bird is almost there

As soon as my dads gets the digital camera from work Ill have pics. I should have them Tuesday. I did a lot of work on it today. I make new mats and reupholster the entire back carpeting with black and it looks good next to the gray. Im dying to work on it now!!

I can't get a job let alone a Mustang.....Anyone want to buy a practically new S-10 xtreme 5 speed with 26,xxx miles,so I can get me a stang? Actually never mind thats gonna be my down payment on a Cobra in a few years.
