Help with what this is?

It hooks to the brake pedal frame and that yellow button gets pushed in when your off the pedal. Has black tubing coming off the back of it.

It has to be the brake light switch.

It's not the brake switch, I can see the brake light switch and they are working with this thing tucked up under the dash for now.

Cruise control cancel? I'll take a look at my 93 and see if I have one of those. I'll get back to you.

Looking at my 93 Mustang shop manual, that seems to be the "Vacuum Dump Valve" which has to do with the cruise control.

Here's what it says in the book:
The Vacuum Dump Valve provides an additional safety feature in the system. Normally, when the brake pedal is depressed, an electrical signal from the stop lamp switch to the amplifier will turn off the system. In addition, the vacuum dump valve will mechanically release the vacuum in the servo when the brake pedal is depressed. This releases the throttle independently of the amplifier control.

Thanks for the info, I have a momo wheel so no more cruise anyway, do I still need it hooked it up? Or can I just leave it tucked away.

If its in your way then tuck it up but I don't see a problem just putting it back where it came from... It's up to you.
