Help needed badly. Mustang will not start.

Okay I have a 1987 lx and night before last someone tried to steal my car and ripped out the ignition switch (the electrical piece) well I got all that put back together and zipped tied till I was off work. Well I got off work everything was fine. Went and bought a security system to install. Took to brother in laws and he pulled the panels off and got it ready to install new switch and the security system. Well I went to move the car and get it closer to the house to use a drop light cause it was getting dark. Well it turned over and I got nothing, check coil wire and there was no fire from coil to dis. Before I go swapping parts wondered if anyone could help me out with this one.

Does the fuel pump whine when you click the ignition up one click? If you don't hear it might be a pump... and does the distributor have spark? Gap a wire and see

Sorry to hear about your car it sucks that dirt bags have to damage stuff we put so much time and money into. The best alarm is one where you hit them over the head with a bat when they touch your car next time. : )

Hey guys thanks for the replies but I found out it was the ign module, yea so I replaced all the stuff that they tore up and she's back to running again, I also installed a alarm system and I dare for someone to touch it now cause me and my baseball bat will be there to greet them.
