Headrest Removal
Can anyone tell me how to remove the headrests from 1985-86 sport seats. We are about to reupholster the seats but obviuosly we need to remove the headrests first.

Removal:
- Unzip the top seat cover from at the bottom of the top portion of the seat. This will be where it folds when leaning it forward.
- Reach up with one hand. You will feel the metal shaft. There is a piece of sheet metal that locks it in place.
- Push the headrest down, wedge your thumb between the headrest shaft and the metal lock, then pull the headrest out.
- Slide the Halo back into the top of the seat.
- Slide it all the way down.
- The metal lock will engage once the Halo is inserted all the way down.
