It depends on your plans. Are you going to keep it for awhile? If so, I's swap the motor in it for one of the new crate motors from Ford, the 306/340HP. I have the 302/340HP in my '93 and it's a good little motor. Your car being lighter than my 'vert would make yours very interesting.

Well if it's been neglected I would buy a gallon of seafoam and do a couple of cleaning phases and short oil change intervals to clean the insides and run it thru a vacuum line to clean intake and add to fuel. Use cheap oil and change it at like 2000 miles a cowle of times to really dissolve any built up gunk. Then the standard wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Then see how it runs. If there are problems they will present themselves, then decide from there if it's time for a new motor or rebuild this one. If you are happy with the power then just leave it alone and enjoy the ride. If it's not enough for you then a cam/heads/intake swap would be a great start. Headers of course. A Mac prochamber sounds unreal on a 5.0. Gears will make you fall in love with it all over again. Then get into the cosmetics. I think that about covers it

Has a short throw, flowmaster system and 3.73 and pullys. The power is there and its nice. your right about the oil, didnt think about the seafoam as i thought it actually hurt the engine. how do you use your seafoam? put it in the gas? whats the best method?

The radiator is gone, are the ones on ebay for 150$ good enough? i dont want to get to into it and find out a bigger problem. i def. need new hoses. 3rd mustang and im loving it.
