I agree they are **** pricey but I think the 85/86 bumper covers just became available last year so they're still kinda new I guess. I'm sure you've tried CJ Pony Parts salvage yard right? Theres also a place in Georgia called MPS auto salvage http://www.mpsautosalvage.com/index.cfm but it says they only cover '87-'06 mustangs.
Other than that you can try stangnet.com's or the corral's classified sections

 

Check Classifieds at Corral.net or FourEyedPride.com, or look at car-parts.com
