What is a good CAI for a 93 LX? So far the two ive seen that caught my attention are the Fenderwell versions from BBK and Mac. I would really like the filter to be in the well and not the bay. Thanks for any help.

I'd say the fenderwell BBK...Clean and offers decent hp upgrade for a low price!

Six of one, half a dozen of the other in my opinion. Mac and BBK both make decent products, so I would go with the cheaper one. Just dont get one expecting any real hp out of it.

I would also go with a BBK Fenderwell. I have it on my 88.

JLT, and if you are in the 300 rwhp area, you can expect about 7+ rwhp over a C&L 76mm tube (at least that is what I got, from 298 w/ C&L tube to 305 with JLT's CAI). And it's pretty!

man thats some good number with the mild bolts ons on your 5.0. i had BBK straight shot on my 86GT wasnt the greatest gain in hp but will be a big help down the road if you add alot of HP. i still havent decided what to put on my 92. might go with fenderwell, but the filter is a pain to get in and out.

I've got an 89 LX 5.0 w/ Mass Air Sensor. Which one of these CAI kits would work best for mine? Do any of them incorporate the MAS? or is it eliminated? ups or downs?

Any help, advice or guidance to a specific thread is appreciated.
