Fuel pump...

Just a quick ? Guys.... My fuel pump may have went out this week and i was wondering .... Im going to go from the stock pump and 19# to the 155 pump and 24# do to upgrades in the near future... Ive already purchased the bigger pump and its in my pile of parts..... Can i throw the bigger pump on now and be fine or will it build up to much presser and cause problems.... Thanks
