fuel gauge not working...

fuel gauge not working...

Fuel sending unit maybe?? Is that difficult to replace?

If your car's an '86 like I see in your sig. then the problem is finding the sender itself. But it can be rebuilt, that's what I did to mine.

And while you're there you may want to change the fuel pump, new filter, the sender, and the tank itself all at once, that's what I did.

The fuel level sending unit is inside you gas tank. And the reason it needs to be rebuilt is because the '86 is unique on its own, it was a one year only desing and it can not be found new.
