all right everyone i need some help. i want to put a new bumper on my 88 gt (because of damage to mine) but i do not know what one to put on it. in fact i do not know of many bumpers for this year or what they look like. i have seen a few aftermarkets that look really good. i would like one that stands out and comes forward like a steeda splitter. so i would like some opinions on what one u think i should use. pictures and websites of the bumpers would be preferred if u know where to find them. thanks for your help.

 

me personally, i would just put a new replacement oem bumper / air dam back on it. IMO an original gt front end and functional fog lights are most awesome

 

ok what does everyone think of these two set ups just for the front end and hood cause i am goin to keep the original side skirts and rear skirt. there is the spider x9 kit and the x concept kit with the spider x9 hood. please tell me what u think. all opions are welcome of course.

As Keving stated it's your car/money, but a nice 4-eyed front clip would be a nice alternative!

Get a GT bumper with the 93 cobra grille insert

 

why not go for a sleeper look now and grab an LX bumper and remove the GT kit if you have one on your car? or if you want a kit i'd go back to a GT front bumper like you had.
People will mistake a bumper like those for a ricer bumper...just my opinion...
although if you went aftermarket the Xenon doesn't look too extreme from the photo i see

 

All of those look kinda ricey to me. That one on the Green 87-93 Fox doesnt look too bad. Look at Cervini's and see what they have. Ive seen some nice kits for 87-93s from them.

If it was mine id say go back to astock gt (or cobra) because besides looking like an... import, those big body kits are a real pain in the **** when you have to go over speed bumps or into driveways. But hey, your call.

 

Those spider things are the most hideous, crappy looking things I think I have ever seen. I wouldnt dare put one of those on a fox body. Do what you want, but dont feel bad when people laugh at your car because it has been tunred into a monstrosity.
