Fox Body - sagging driver's side rear end

Just discovered something - not sure how long it's been like this. On the passenger side, the distance between the top of the rear tire and bottom of the wheel well measures 3.5", but on the driver's side it's only 2". Both sides have new shocks (last August, under 1,000 miles). I can't see any issues with the springs or shocks - what do I need to look at? I was planning on some lowering springs, but I need to get this sorted out first. A friend of mine is going to put it up on his lift, but I don't know enough about suspension to know where to start. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
