Has anybody here or does anyone know somebody that has put a flamethrower exhasut on a fox mustang? Im kinda thinking it wont work with a fuel injected 5.0 to just drill some plugs into the pipes because not enough gas would go through unburned. I dont want to hook up another fuel pump just for that, so if theres any other way to do it or if the plugs would work let me know. Thanks

Do an internet search for flame thrower kits. There are a couple of companies that make them for an efi setup. You would have to have your cats removed. I think basically the way they work is that they first cut spark in one or more of your cylinders, and then immediately start firing the plugs in your exhaust pipes. That way the car has plenty of excess fuel coming out of the tailpipes.

I remember doing a google search a long time ago and I did find a website that sold flame throwers for EFI 5.0's. I don't remember the site but i'm sure you'll find it. I would LOVE to have flame throwers but right now its not to practical...

i wouldnt reccommend it on a GT, the tailpipes arch down so it would shoot towards the ground and wouldnt look right

well ya, on a GT it would be blasting right into the ground, i think itd still look cool as long as it wasnt shooting too big of a flame and roasting my tires. and what do you mean run propane? do you just hook a tank up and pipe it into the exhaust?

u run a small tube hooked to the tank into the exhaust and use something to ignite it like a sparkplug in the exhaust pipe

Dont matter anyways, i got no money for a supercharger, if i did itd already be on there. plus this is a daily driver so i dont want it belching flames everytime i shift gears going through residential places. i need something i can flip on or off.
