"Doors that sag are common on '79-'93 Mustangs, especially on the driver side. The bushings in the hinges are the culprit, and replacing them along with the hinge pins will do the trick. Also consider a new striker."

what would bushings, hinge pins, striker cost?...and what might a auto shop cost to do such a repair?

I don't know about most businesses but I sell the hinge pin kits complete for $14.95 per door....install runs roughly $50 per door. Strikers are not as often the problem as the pins and we don't replace them unless they are in fact bad.

I just had this done last year. I had a local ford dealership paint my car and they also fixed my sagging door because it was rubbing on my side skirt. I have the bill here and for the door parts I was charged as follows:
Door hinge pin (qty 2) $9.38
Dr. door hinge bushing (qty 4) $8.08
Unfortunately my bill does not break down the labor charges, therefore I have no clue what the labor charge for the door was, sorry. But i'm sure someone on this site could help with a labor estimate.

Check your pins to make sure they do not move or back out. The Ford pins(what I use as well) have a hole for a pin but Ford does not sell/service that pin to keep the shaft from backing out. I put together my own kits(which have been copied by others) that include a clip pin at the top to keep the hinge pin from moving or sliding out. If you don't have that clip pin or a cotter pin(which I doubt) I would suggest installing one
