Dashpad for 85 Capri

I'd like to ask the resident experts if the dashpads are the same for the 85 Mustang and Capri. I just bought an 85 ASC Mclaren in dire need of a dashpad and want to make sure I don't waste $200.00 buying the repop at 50Resto.com

Thanks!

Not positive.

You should take a walk over to Skye's website - FourEyedPride.com
They would know quick.

Yes they are the same....but before you spend $200 on that dashpad only to be SEVERLY disappointed in the poor quality consider buying the plastic coverlay dash cover. It's about $60 and you can buy it about anywhere from JC Whitney to the Mustang suppliers...same exact part so price shop it.

You've been warned, that repro dash pad is awful, weighs a whopping 15lbs and will never look right...it's wavy out of the box. I brought one into my shop when they were first introduced and I refuse to sell them due to the poor quality.

Just a heads up...

Thanks for the warnings, I appreciate the feedback and will hunt for a good used one instead
