4200 mile fox on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-...em300092013176
This car is absolutely perfect. Its a 5.0, 5spd notch, and it has a black interior (not my favorite color, but rather rare, especially in a 1990) 128,189 built it was number 123,326
Out of 128,189 built it was number 123,326, and one of 1256 Oxford white 5.0 notchbacks

I know what I'd do...when I picked it up from I'd scarf down a Big Mac while drinking a coke and doing a burnout right in front of the seller....lol.
I'm all for taking care of your car, but talk about being ****!

I'm tired of seeing these outrageously expensive "rare" low mileage foxes. Yes its in great shape and doesn't seem abused yada yada but it still ain't worth no 10,000+ dollars (and the reserve isn't even met yet.) I know some "purist" will pay that much thinking he's getting the king of all fox bodies and theres something special about it, but bone stock foxes lose their fun after a while so unless the new owner plans on putting this car in a museum to show what a stock fox looked like whats the point of paying that much? and how many museum foxes do we need for that matter? I know having the complete history of a car is worth money but this guy is squeezing every penny outta this that he can.
I paid 4,500 for my GT which is much better looking (in my opinion of course, no offense notchback guys); was owned by a guy in his 60's; and the only mod done to it was a K&N filter (even had the stock air silencer), it had a logbook of all maintnence done... and the 2nd owner even recorded every gas fill up! The difference being mine had 22 times more miles on it than this fox, but foxes are known for running great even with high mileage.
Ok, rants over, its a very clean nice car, but the freaking thing only cost about 3 grand more when it was new in 1990... just too much money.
and oh yeah, the A/C has been retrofitted to R-134A

I do know that 1990 was the first year for the black interior, and i dont even believe that it was availible for the whole model year, so thats why thats a rare option, even though i dont have the exact figures for it
In 1988 there were only 829 Oxford white 5.0 notches (but you knew that already), probably a bit fewer with gray interiors, and even less with no options.....is it a auto or 5spd?
Im starting to feel like one of those first gen mustang guys
