Yeah I just spoke with a guy from mustangsunlimited and he suggested I just call up which ever company cam I want and have them make a custom grind for me but the AFR 185cc/72cc heads I found have a max lift of .550" then again thoses are the emissions legal heads, the none legal ones are a max lift of .600" but with the same 185cc intake/68cc exhaust ports flow 267/185 at a .500" lift.. its a little challenging to find the right cam but I think I'm just going to have a custom stick made for me to make it easy and quick. All I need left for this engine is the heads, cam and distributor.. a couple small things also but thoses are the more expensive parts I need that's left, so once I'm done with it ill post some pics for you guys. Once again thanks for the help and if there's anything else you can think of that comes to mind that might help let me know.

I went with an ed curtis recently. My experience was definitely not quick. But from what I can research he is the best. But mine just shipped out today so I cant confirm anything.

I did click on the contact us and it doesn't leave an email address on there, it just talks about how they do business through email only.. I'll give that email you left a try though

He also only responds to emails one or twice a week. He responds personally and not some Joe that works for him

Mike hooked you up, that is how you contact him. Ed is in high demand so it takes time but the results are worth it. Jay Allen and Ed are known to be some of the best but Jay has had health issues and pretty much hard to get in touch with.

Also too much focus on lift and max lift even though it is part of the factor. Duration and LSA have more of an effect. you can run a higher lift/duration cam if the LSA is wide enough but this also has an effect on the power band.

Did you ever talk to ed? Just wondering if you went ahead and ordered yet?
