This is pretty cool. I can't imagine being a cop back when they used these foxes. Imagine getting paid to drive these all day. Anyway, a couple of nice ones for sale but all pretty high priced:

Yea, I guess you are right, they just all seem like they are up there in miles and since they were cop cars they are probably some hard miles.

Yeah, that's true. But there is the collectibility to consider as well. Either way, it'd be cool to be paid to drive one.

I'd love to have an SSP Mustang, they will certainly be one of the most collectible foxes going forward, especially one with documentation.

Am i missing something here? They've got high miles of hard driving and don't seem to be in very good shape. Other than the collectibility aspect are they any different mechanically from a regular 5.0 i could buy for half that price?

not much different. i believe it was all in the cooling dept. like a hevy duty clutch fan. the blue motorsport hoses and a transcooler or something. PM svopaul he has one and can probably tell you everything

they also have heavy duty floor pans and alot bigger alternator.

Meh, not worth it IMO. Wouldn't have much toruble finding a blown 5.0 for those kinds of prices, i'm not a big fan of the notches anyways.
