Cam & heads

If I have a trick flow stage 2 cam can I still use stock E7 heads or should I at least do I spring job? What the cheapest but best way to have performance the best?

The E7 heads are very restrictive. I would try to at least try to find some gt40 heads. But I know how budgets are. At cam change, I would do lifters, pushrods, and springs.

save your money for heads. you are going to one choke of the cam two waste your money and a stage 2 isn't for those heads anyways. there is going to a small bump in hp ..very small and a bumpy idle. remember power is a sum of all parts. If you don't have cash then stick with stock H.O. cam, upgrade the springs and run 1.7s ( 1.7s will bump the lift and sneak some hp) or get a set GT40 heads with a trick flow stage 1 stick or a set of good aluminum heads.

My car is a daily driver so if I keep the stage 2 cam with stock heads, it should run fine until I pick up gt40 or newer heads right?

Doubt it - it may run, but not happily. Stick with stock parts for now until you are ready to install all the upgrade parts. As others have suggested, save the money for a decent set of heads and valvetrain components that can support the lift and flow numbers of the TFS Stage 2 cam.
