Okay, so i check the database for the color of my ride and it is calypso green. i saw that this color was only offered in 93 on the lx and lx5.0 models. So, here is my question. I have a neighbor who has an 93 lx 2.3 and it is the same color as my 5.0, calypso green. But, she told me, and i am 100% sure that i have seen this myself, that there is a calypso green with black molding, like the stangs had up till 92. I know that i have seen a number of calypso green stangs with the black molding, so what year are these cars?

I went back and looked at some of my old brochures to see when Calypso Green was first offered, I have a '90 & '92 brochure, no '91, and it was offered on the '92's on the LX body style, 5.0 & 4 cyl.. The '92's had painted body color moldings.

 

My first stang (now in my brother's hands) was a 93 Calipso Green LX 5.0. I had never seen another one in that color, and my friends always asked me if it was original. But after that ave seen some more, including a few 2.3 hb and pre 93.

 

Can someone post a pic of calypso green? My dad had a 92 LX 5.0 that was stolen in 93. I was only 12 at the time and didnt even know just how sweet a car it was. Either way, its gone, and now we find out how rare of a color it was.... I want to know if it's the same color or not...
