Bored and have nothing to do?

Ok- then here's the task- find out where DSO code "86" is for.
I already managed to figure out what it was but didnt make a whole lot of sense. Its for my 1988 LX. Happy hunting and let me know what you all can find out!

Dso 86

My decoder book lists DSO 86 as 'Recreational Vehicle Pool'. I have an idea that these were vehicles available to be checked out by Ford Executives. I also thought that maybe, as I see you are in the Army, that these could be vehicles available to enlisted men to check out, but the Government DSO is 83. No proof, just theories on the usage! kennyg

ding ding ding- winner for at least getting the DSO code-
I actually had the 88 before I joined up though (back in 2001, joined in 04). My guess was it was set aside for Ford Execs too. What's funny is that it also had the radio-delete option. I guess the 5.0 was all the music they needed to hear
I am pretty sure we got some SSP foxes on this forum too, but I wonder how many other 'unusual' DSO codes there are in here.
