well boys wow it was a crazy night. im on my way home from work and im on back roads. im goin 55 or maybe just a lil more on a shoulderless highway. i come over a hill and five seconds later i see a deer jump onto the road about 20 feet in front of me. instantly i slam on the brakes and clutch and spin the car right then left ad turn my car sideways on the road. mind you im on a really skinny road and i didnt even come close to being in the ditch lol. i had stopped my car sideways within 15 feet and wasnt even touchin the grass. the darn deer was still standing in the road. but i was able to turn around without having to worry about the ditch. great thing was i kept the car running lol. boy what a crazy night. glad my brakes were so darn good. gotta love it.

Good to hear you made it alright. The deer around me are out of control too. I would say that 8 out of 10 people where I live have a story about hitting a deer. I think they need to restrict the hunters a little less. It's getting out of control.

Glad to hear the you and your pony are OK. I to have to contend with deer just about everyday, especially right now with the fields being picked and all. I got one last year at this time with the work car, darn thing passed in front of me and then decided to come back, luckily I was drivin the work car and she only took out the grille. I was already on the hooks and had slowed considerably, could have been worse.

My brother in law had same issue in 1990 with his 10,000 mile 89 5.0 convertible gt that he bought brand new. Unfortunately he lost control and took it over the side and totalled it.
What a loss to the fox community of a beautiful car.

You came out a lot better than my friend. He bought a black 93 GT hatchback and spent $4k rebuilding the motor in it. On the day that he got it out of the shop and got it registered it was totaled! He got to drive it for 30-45 minutes before a guy in a F-150 ran a red light and hit him on the passenger side when the hinges were for the door. Totaled the car as you can image but he was able to get all of his money back and some more from the guy's insurance company. I think he is going to get another one.

Good to read that you are alright!

You think you have Deer problems? Come to East Los Angeles some day, then you'll know what a Deer problem is
