Back again...with pics
Have been a long time follower of this site since ~2003. Even had a login at one point (but have long since forgot it). Here is my 1991 Mustang Gt that I've had since 2000 (and a few months out of high school). 71K original miles.
Mods include:
Exterior:
Stalker front bumper
Cobra fender extensions
Xenon side kirts
Razzi bumper
Saleen wing
Cobra R hood
Canadian Custom Fiberglass Cowl
Aftermarket head and tails
Shaved locks, handles and antenna
17" Konig Monsoon rims
Interior:
Billet accents but totally stock otherwise
Engine/Drivetrain/exhaust:
Underdrive pulleys
Cold air intake
Flowmaster exhaust
3:73 gears
I did all these mods between 2001-2005. Since then, I got married, moved west and had to pay adult bills. My tastes have also changed. I originally wanted to break free of what I saw in Western New York...the same LX or GT that had a cowl hood and the LX tail lights. To me, that was outplayed (not to say it looked bad though). Anyways, my goals for this car are to do the following:
-Coyote 5.0
-Supercharger
-18" rims
-Cobra rear bumper
-replace the altezzas with my favorite CLEAR LX taillights once again (and not keep getting tickets for them anymore)
-and have more fun

Thanks man. I dont even really like those altezzas. I had the clear LX lights but I would get pulled over for them not being really "red". I took the LX lights off of the 89 I had at the time but they didnt look right. Was going for that "silver" look. Thought about the new LEDs but I dont know....

Hey welcome back. nice stang you got. The tail lights and the rear bumper aren't my taste. the car flows nice until the it gets to the rear, the bumper seem out of place. a GT or cobra rear bumper would look sick. just my opinion though. like the color

I couldn't agree more with both of you. I wanted to do something different back in the day so I got the bumper. Definitely looking to get a cobra rear like I said in my original post. I had clear LX tails but was always getting tickets with them. Replaced them with the regular red LX tails and I really didn't like the look. wanted to stay with the "silver/clear theme". I think they sell red bulbs now so I'll either go back to those or get the new LED tails, but I'm on the fence with those too....

Sorry, yeah I read that and still posted it, LOL. '93 Cobra tail lights would look really good on your car. you could even paint the thick black trim area that goes across them silver. I almost went this route but kept my cheese graters instead.

You are good man and seriously thanks for the good words. So I've been looking into the clear LX tails and am a little stumped. Apparently the only thing that is being sold is the Outer LENS and glue.....so that sounds to me like I have to take apart the original taillight assembly and glue the clear outer portion to it. WTH??? I don't have my originals so I might have to go the LED route after all.
