AOD ford manual
Hi guys...I'm replacing the AOD in my 88 GT within a few weeks and I don't have an actual Ford service manual just a crappy haynes manual. My buddy is a mechanic at a dealer (unfortunately not ford) and he says he needs one or even just the pages xeroxed at all. Does anyone have these pages from a service manual on cd or the actual book where it tells you about transmission removal and install? Also are there any special tools needed or do I just need some sockets, wrench, and thats it? Thank you!
PS- please dont bother to post if you are going to flame about how you dont need one and only need a wrench and a pair of eyes or something like that.

Do yourself a favor and go to www.helm.com and buy the factory Ford shop manuals for the car...they will be an invaluable tool as long as you own the car and WELL worth the investment. You don't have to buy them all, you can start with the powertrain manual for your car
i got most of what i needed from another member...but i wouldnt buy the helm manual based on the fact that im going to be selling the car and its a waste if im going to use it just once anyways
