I started out building a L/SA 89 HB , got the car .60 under the index, when IHRA drop all stock classes. I than started racing in Mod / Pro bracket classes . I finished in 10 place in points at my home track, not bad for my 3rd year back after being out of racing for 50 years. The car runs 7.50s in an 1/8 and I want to move it down to 7.00 so as I being chased most of the time. The car is very consistent , the last race of the year it ran 5 passes within .010 of a sec. The car weights 2920 lbs. with me in it , has a stock 5.0 that's never been out of the car, just a valve job , cheater cam , C4 with a brake and air shift , 5:13 gears and 9X30 M/T slicks..
What do you think about a M-6007-Z363RT Ford crate motor for this car? I don't know any one running this motor, but it seems like a god match for this car. Let me know what you all think, or If you running this set-up .
