really depends on what you wanna do.

If you want to swap in the driveline, you can, as long as you get the wire harness and have the ability to hook everything up, oh yeah, that swap needs the K-member from the 97 too. but with that swap you'll see similar to lower power from the 4.6, unless you swap to PI head and intake, which will bump it to 260, or better yet Ported PI heads which will get it closer to 300. Or you can just swap out the brakes which would also need to include the front spindles and rear axles, or the entire rear end, which would be easier.

depends on if you have the time/money/patience. It depends on how bad the 97 is wrecked and if you are gettign the whole car, or a few parts. I've seen cars with the entire interior including the dash and door panels from a SN95 modified to fit a fox, so it is just what you are willing to do.

The motor/tranny in the 97 is not as good as your cars, but the seats may be better and u could swap those in.

Personally, I wouldnt do it. The 96-98 4.6s are slow as crap from the factory. True you could get a pi intake, heads, and cams, and make it a little more powerfull, but then it bumps your compression way up there. Also, I am pretty sure you would have to figure out how to make the computer work with everything considering the 4.6 is a distributorless motor.

By the time you payed for and swapped out all the crap from the 97, you could do a h/c/i swap on the 5.0 and have more power with only a fraction of the work and trouble.

wut he sedd

personally I think the only thing I would go for would be the 5-lug set up, that way you could put on some newer wheels and tires.

If you want more info about the SOHC swap tho, check out www.moduarfox.com

For the amount that you would spend to swap all the stuff over you could build one heck of a motor and drive line for your car.

I think thats a bad idea. I would be nice but its just not worth the time and effort that you would have to put into it. You should just save yourself the hassle and get whatever you need for your fox. Nothing like a 5.0 anyway.
