Ok so I got a 93 mustang I've had for a while now but I noticed 2 problems today and I was looking for some help on how to fix it.
1. While cruising down the highway the steering wheel shakes. Not enough where I can't drive it but enough to annoy me.
2. The speedometer needle bounces. The needle will sometimes bounce between a 5mph difference. I've already replaced the speedo cable.

 

As far as the steering wheel shake that might be due to an alignment issue or wheel bearings.

As for the speedo I say check the speedo gear inside the tranny and see if it is cracked or broken. I believe they had those then and didnt have electronic ones.

 

By speedo gear do u mean the tooth thing? I changed my gears to 3.73 n had the tooth thing installed to correct the speed I'm going to match the speed my speedometer says.

 

The speedo gear that is inside the tranny. It slips onto your speedo cable and is what starts the events for your speedo gauge
