Yes I have a thunderbird... I am planning shaving everything besides the grille emblem, black over red tutoned paint, custom hood & euros... check the post in the which is better forum entitled "Paint Schemes" and the link "raven" in my sig for some pics... BTW... how hard was it to shave the door handles?

Looking good! I love your conceptual drawings and renders....it should come out really nice!!! Shaving the door handles was relatively easy...just drill out the rivets that hold the handle to the door, throw in some sheet metal, add a minimal number of body filler, and there you have it. You will need to buy door poppers too and wire them...make sure you get the right ones, because i ended up buying weaker poppers that didnt work for my car initially.

Thanks... did you have do buy new poppers... if so, will you sell the older ones? Which brand works the best? I was thinking about removing the lock rod from the keyless entry solenoid & attatching the latch rod... would that work?

Yep..i had to buy them....and i had to keep them too so i still have them but i dont recommend selling them to you because if they were strong enough to pop my doors, they definately wont be strong enough to pop yours either! I honestly dont remember what brand i used, but im sure any will work fine...ill try to find out for you though soon. You do not need the look rod or the attaching rod. Essentially you are getting rid of your locks...why would you need them? I actually wired it up and took it to a place where i can use my alarm clicker to open the doors and turn off my alarm at the same time. Good luck buddy!
