86 gt four eyes. question about doing a newer front clip conversion
Hello everybody, i have a 86 gt convertible and i would like to put the 87-93 front bumper and hood on it. Has anyone done that here? Just wondering if i need any special things besides bumper hood and lights, and also any dificulties?

Keep your '86 GT 'vert a 4-Eye!!! You've got a great GT 'Vert! Don't throw an aero-nose on it!
Seriously, it's your ride do with it what you want . . . .(but keep it a 4-Eye!)
If you do decide to swap, I think you may want to get fenders (doors and rear bumper as well) and especially different molding too. (But I could be mistaken with the doors and rear bumper.) Go over to foureyedpride.com if you aren't already registered. It is the best 4-Eyed site, but they might not be as nice if you ask this same question.
Post some more pictures as well!

I don't have an '86. I have a '04 Mach 1, but I have owned 3 '86 Capri 5.0s in the past and grew up with 4-Eyes, so they have a special place in my heart. In fact, all Foxes do. I love the '87-'93s as well . . . . just not when their noses are grafted to a 4-Eye!

To change the front, the fenders also need to be changed to 87' to 93' fenders but know this get the fenders in pairs because of the wheel wells are different sizes in the years like the 87' to 89 ' are the same and 90' to 93 are a bit larger in size but they will just bolt right up no fab work needed

Keep it four eyes! They are so rare these days and if you change the nose.....it is just not the same anymore. 
If it was me, I would probably go and put the original hood decal back on.....that would be sweet!
