Still running the numbers in the MC but thing the 94 and up GT will work. I'll keep you updated.

SleepingStang read the info I posted again just to refresh yourself the part I posted about master cylinder, proportioning valve and booster.

I would go '93 cobra master and booster with the sn95 brakes but that is just me.

+1 on the '93 Cobra units. May as well follow the M2300K kit in that regard as closely as possible since it is a proven combo.

Well it has been awhile but i have amassed almost all of the parts to mirror the m2300k kit from Ford Racing. I must say that without the forums and aftermarket places I will list later, this would be much more difficult. I was planning on a tutorial, but figured that since the instruction sheets can be downloaded, there really is no point. I am however going to list some places and part numbers that I sourced throughout. By the way, the Bullitt wheels were refinished by me.

Ok so here are some of the numbers i have for you guys. I'll post more as i get time.

93 Cobra Master Cylinder: MC390125

Rear Passenger Caliper w/bracket: FRC10529

Rear Driver Caliper w/bracket: FRC10530

Front Passenger Caliper w/bracket: RC10603

Front Driver Caliper w/bracket: RC10604

NAPA Rear Axle Soft Line: 38372

NAPA Rear Passenger Soft Line: 380371

NAPA Rear Driver Soft Line: 380372

Oreily's Front Driver Soft Line: BH380366

Oreily's Front Passenger Soft Line: BH380365

Napa was also able to hook me up with the Weatherhead fittings, banjo bolts, copper washers and strut bolts. I know that a lot of the site sponsors and usual mustang parts vendors carry these items too, but i am looking at most cost effective way to put this kit together. Sometimes local parts stores give you that option.

The rear axles and brackets were sourced from NorthRaceCars and they are of excellent quality. The parking brake cables, anti-moan brackets, dust shields and rear rotors were sourced from LRS. I bought the brake upgrade kit for the 94-95 Mustang for the last 3 items and then sold off the brackets that came with that kit to recoup some cash.

I'll have more in a few days but got started here. By the way, the calipers are all Raybestos parts, along with the master cylinder. These were all sourced from RockAuto.com.

Ok a few more part numbers here, and some photos.

Dorman Caliper Bracket Bolts: 13898

Rear Axle Hard Lines: FL99095P

The rear lines from National Parts Depot are a thing of beauty. They are bent by Classic Tube according to the tags on the lines. I preface with this. When I received the North Race Car brackets they enclosed the fittings for the Cobra rear caliper hoses. I was just going to modify the existing lines with the new fittings, but I didn't really want to deal with taking the lines off and flaring the ends even though I have the tools. So I went to NPD's website to check for some other stuff and found these:

I am so glad that I got these lines. They literally dropped right in. I probably save 2 hours of labor, making the lines and installing them.

I haven't checked but I would bet that Classic Tube would be able to give a better price on the lines. These lines are available in stainless as well.

Went to the local pull a part and picked these up for $5. They were a bit corroded so I hit them with my media blaster, painted and Plasti-dipped the cable loop. I think they turned out OK.

Congrats on getting it all together! Looks good. Sadly, have yet to do this to my car (probably have one of the few M2300K kits left in existence still in the box ).

Looks like Napa part number 23842 for the banjo bolts for front calipers. Mine are 10x1 and 1.41 inches overall. I ended up ordering mine from diskbrakesrus.com due to my Napa storing having to order their part number anyways. Based on measurements though this should be the correct part. I'll keep you guys and gals in the loop.

Got the booster, e-brake cable retainers and rear pads installed yesterday. No real problems with anything as far as installation goes.

The brake booster is a tight squeeze in my 92. I imagine that in pre-92 foxes there would be no way without banging the shock tower. I did end up enlarging the holes a tad, but nothing extreme. I also cut about 1/8" off the booster studs and it slid right in. FYI getting nuts on booster studs under the dash is a pain.

Next week should be getting MC bled and lines hooked up for that.

Yep, friend of mine had to do that with his '90. Used a air hammer. Hit the shock tower just right the first time!

Congrats on getting it done. What did you do in regards to the handbrake - heard quite a few different opinions on the mod. Have you adjusted the F/R brake bias yet?

hi5.0 for the e brake I just followed the ford racing plans by welding the pawl. I used the same cables in the kit as well. The guides that I picked up at the yard worked well to take the slack from the lines and route them correctly. I do suggest to set the initial adjustment then pull up on the lever and leave it there for a few days to "stretch" the cable. You can then lower the handle and readjust so you don't have huge travel on the pull of the handle. I also completely removed the spring from the handle after cutting the tab because the rattle would drive me nuts. I only have the initial setting on the bias according to ford racing, but due to the snow and salt I will not be driving to test for a few months. I will update when that happens though. Thanks for the support guys. It is really hard to look at the pretty, and large, brakes and not drive the car. Welcome to Wisconsin.
