My little brother wants a fox as his first car and has been shopping around. He found this deal on autotrader.

I e-mailed the guy and he sent me more pictures. The car looks fairly clean however, the pictures are all from the summer and I asked him to send me more recent ones. I think its definatly priced too high given the almost 150k miles. My '91 has 143k miles on it and still runs strong, knock on wood. He thinks he can work the guy down on the price. Without seeing it in person I can't see paying over 2,000 for it. Let me know what you think.

I agree with you on this, Frank. I wonder how big the dent is, and what shape the interior is in. Plus, being a NYC area car I wonder how much, if any, rust there may be in the usual locations. And, I think being an auto would bring down the value a little. (But it depends if the buyer wants an auto, I guess.)
