Hi Guys and Girls, I havent posted in a whilemy SN95 been running like a dream, except for yet another increase in fuel prices £4.35 a gallon ( about $7.17 ) but hey its better than drivinf round in a Rover or Honda. Anyway your views and advice are always welcome,I'm in the market for an older Mustang and Ive come across one on Ebay at a good price its an 69 Mustang coupe with a recon 5.0 litre engine. The vendor says the engine has been professionally reconned. Any tips or advice to look out for ? any well corroding areas? etc and have you got any parts vendors for this year you would recommend? Thanks. P.S are there anyother Mustang car meets in the Orlando area other than Old Town ?

 

Open up the trunk and look all aroun especially by the wheel wells those spots are usually rusty if not taken care of.
but really unless you have something really special in mind don't pass up the oppurotunity to get 69 i have only seen probably 4 and no coupes compared to the hundreds of 64-66's i've seen
