i dunno, not sure. but all knowing arin can fix it (if its not working that is)

the major upside though is that its a 302, which rocks, cuz theres actually :gasp: parts available for that motor, unlike my 2.8L (which will be upgraded to a 302/351 as soon as i can amek it to a junkyard before closing time :angry: )

and if it no run, and if i cant find what i need at el junkyardo, maybe i can knock the asking price down a bit and take it as a donor car... put in a 347 short block, plop it into my II and viola! and motor mounts for a V8 in a II are a pain to find, so this is a nice find...

 

just got back from junkyard, and wow.

i saw '80 2.3L, and 82 GT (stripped to the bone ) and god knows how many 87-93 AND i found a '78 ghia 302!!!! wooo!!! motor mounts baby!

and theres an 89 GT with an 83 4 bbl 302/auto. so thats my motor, im takin the tails from the 78 and doing the all red tailight conversion (eventually sequentials) gettin a new 302 and an auto too! and some sweet racing seats, all for less than $500. now i need a #@$% truck to haul it in oh and the V8 fuel pump too... and exhaust...

 

My advice Arin is to stick with what you got and build it from there. You have a good solid car that runs and passes inspection. There's no telling what condition this one is in but for $1300 less than yours its probably not as cherry as it sounds.

Save that money buddy and get a built up 302 in yours. Stick with your first project and finish it up Good luck

 

i'm not buying a new car lol, im taking the motor/tranny/seatest etc from these cars

and its not $1300 or less, its $1300 less than what i paid lol dont worry, that one was just there to bug mommy and daddy and an attemt to get rid of the beater.
