Wiring Woes. Come inside. HELP!!!

I just replaced all the harnesses from the firewall forward. Hooked every thing up they way its supposed to be. I also had the ignition switch and tumbler changed also. Now when I turn the key to the "ON" position the car cranks. It will crank in the "ON" and the "Start" positions but not the "ACC" position. It did this before the ignition switch was changed also so I dont think it is that. Any of you guys have any clue what it could be,Im stumped. Any and I say any help will be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have the run and start wires in the wrong position to me. Question: Who was the source of the new harnesses? You may want to give them a call. More detail would help-Model, engine, year.....

Sounds like maybe the two small wires to the solenoid are backwards.

Ok I switched the wires and now it dosent crank at all. Only when its wired backwards dose it crank. The car is a 66 coupe and was originally a I6 car but it has a 302 in it now and all the harnesses are from Scott Drake. Could it be a fuse or something like that.

Is it possible to install the ignition switch off a tooth or something. Just wondering cause the brown wire that goes to the starter selinoid has power when I turn the key and the black and red one dosent.
