-Has Anyone Seen This?

This Mustang was designed by Ford Racing. It's really a 1965 fastback. They Added a 5.0 from a fox body, then they installed it into a classic stang. It's pure genius. Specifications: Engine V-8, Horsepower 420, Torque 395 lb. It's truely a classic.

Tom-

The 5.0 in this '65 is actually a Mod Crate motor (~$14,500) that is based on the 4.6 (if memory serves), not the 5.0 from fox bodies. It was placed in the '65 to show that the engine could be used for older applications with a Carb/Distributor package.

Very cool!

It's under Shows >> 2003 >> SEMA 2003. It doesn't really go anywhere else. I guess I could shoehorn it into the Concepts section.

That'd look nice with the Ronster tonneau cover.

That Ronster cover has some really bad lines... in all honesty the M+ style guys do not exist. Everything they do is tweaked, like that crazy shifter they could not even giveaway (an online auction on another forum got ZERO bids).... anyway.... The Ronster is a roadster and that cover they did is made to clear a top mechanism. Kills the lines entirely. You'll notice in my chops I canned the topboot even to clean it up real nice:
