Man o man its been a wild couple of months....We just bouit a 65 vert back in april and we're slowly bringing her back up to speed but weve hit sl many bumps along the way!!

1st: Rear frame rails replaced 2k later

2nd: Transmission rebuilt 1,700 later

What next??

Im guessing the top will need to be done then the body work and then the floor pans

Well I all have to say is get used to everytime you think your almost there I promise you"ll find something else thats going to cost you an arm and a leg. I completelty restored my fastback from the ground up took me 5 years I thought I was done but there is stiill a list longer of things I want then the things I have already got. Buddy hate to say it but Ole Classic Stangs take a hole lot of commet. Just a little advice they gave me when I started and I didnt believe anything they said take 10K put it in the bank after thats gone put 5k and you should be close to nowhere. All this said there isnt a day go by I dont love that stang and all the hard work makes it even sweeter. Hope this is what you wanted.

Ok, I always wanted a 65 and about 6 years ago we found one. A vert, white I call her Whinney. Love that pony. We have done alot to her, most little stuff but adds up. She didn't have window whippers for almost a year so we never took her out in the rain. She didn't have heat for two years so she sat in the pony stall all winter and turned into mouse condo. That was fun. The mice ate the carpet and all the wirring harnes. Whole lot of fun that was. Then my husband went to a car show and saw the demo 05GT. That is all he talked about this GT. I thought, Ok he should have the car he wanted since we were kids. We ordered her last November and got her in March. I got to name her. Scarlette, like in gone with the wind. Get it? She is a redfire GT. Very pretty. I love the car too. But now Whinney hasnt been out but once this summer and that was just for pictures. He says we have mods to do on the 05 so Whinney will have to wait. And I will wait, and wait and wait. He said over the winter he will work on her. We shall see. <_<

This past weekend he covered the 65. I told him we had plenty of warm days to take her out. He said neither were going out for a while. He wants to do mods for a show in OC Maryland in October. So the 05 is up on jacks. But he informed me today there is a pony run on saturday and we would be going. His pipes are due any day now. He wants to put them on before we go. Any way, I put my lip out and look real sad every time I see Whinney under her cover.

He got his pipes today. Just like christmas. I can home and the box was on the porch. I called him at work and he said he was leaving right then. I was to tell my son Tyler 15 to stay way from the box. When he came home he was singing,"Guess what I am doing tomorrow?' Yea, putting on your pipes. Shoot, I thought he was going to take the 65 out. Oh, well. At least the 05 will be louder now.
Oh and holding out of you know, well that won't work. I chase him around the house.

That is a beautiful FB. Great job. What do you have under the hood?
I will take your word for it...I have been working hard to get mine back on the road all summer. The receipts for paint and parts are adding up fast. After having the car sit on jack stands in the garage for two years, it was time to get her on the road. I am hoping to fire the motor and drive and take her for a spin within 10 days.
