I just strating on the restore on my 68 I6 mustang coup. I think i want the 390, but i have no idea what im doing The body is like the ocean... so much body puddy. so i was going to rip everything off and start at the base of the car.

Are there any fixing the mustang for dumbies books? im sure i can rip apart but putting together is another thing.

if u know of any good website that i can pick stuff up from( such as fenders and floorpans) that would be nice too :usa:

Ill be posting pictures of my progress too

hey brian, I'd go with the big block, but it depends on the kind of car you're going for...

If you switch to a V8 make sure you replace the entire drivetrain to fit it as well because with that I6, 4 lug bolt pattern it definitely won't be able to hold up a 390 at all. See too many people with I6's that just drop a V8 in without doing everything properly

You can buy my car, all you'd need to do is get in and go! It's set for daily driving, but if you need power, it's already setup to take more so if you wanted to bolt on a supercharger or nitrous, it's the perfect platform for it
