You know there is just the slightest chance that your reference pic is not actually a true 69 color. Many times folks just choose a simillar but more modern shade of a color they want, you could be just spinning your wheels here.

It does look like Acupulco blue, but who knows. A previous owner could have had it repainted in his/her own preference, what ever was in stock at Earl Scheib, or a close to stock color match or even a later model paint (like Lexus forget-me-not or something). LOL
You've also got to be careful judging the colors based off the internet... There are so many ways a color can be altered from what it is in "real life", stuff like monitor setting(s), digital (or film) camera settings, light play, program mods (like photoshop), etc. If you like that color, and can get your printer to print off the exact same color, take it in and get a color match.

Those paint chip charts don't look anything like they do in person. Sunlight can illuminate paint in many ways that a computer monitor can't. Just look at Candy Apple Red, it appears brownish-black.
Try this 1971 Bright Blue Metallic...

It also depends what type of paint and primers you use. I've used a yellowish primer, a grey primer and an orangish primer. Each lends a little different color to the final coat, unless you use enough layers of basecoat to cover it. Two stage paint, single stage catalysed (like acrylic enamel), with or without metallics, etc. all might modify the final color you get.
Hey, you asked...
