I saw NPD on Classic Car Restoration on the DIY channel. He restored a 65 Fastback, maybe. Mainly used stuff from them. Year One was my 1st catalog. Believe NPD was 2nd. They have the rims it has in 17's. Yeah, like $350 a piece.

Dallas in like 1 1/2 hours from me. That part I ordered for my 95 on Friday, still don't have. Got my part from Houston, though. Thanks!!

Got that latch ordered.

When I get that new door latch put on, that'll fix it right? I mean so I can lock it. I have to lock the LH side with the key. Why don't it lock right? Can I buy something to fix that? Thanks!!

I have to lock mine with the key to. I'm not sure if that's the way they just are or if my lock is not working right. I should probably replace it, but then that will be more money!

I would think that the latch will fix it, unless there's something wrong with the lock?

I had my 95 parked beside in yesterday. I think it would look pretty cool in my Laser Red, too. Just a thought.

I'm sure hoping she doesn't chose that color. I know Mustangs look great in red, but I hate that red! My choice will take it back to that purple!

How are you guys trying to lock them? You can't just push the lock down and close the door, but I don't know if you knew that.


You have to push down the lock, then press the button(I guess) on the door handle like you are going to open it, finally closing the door and letting the pressure off of the button.

Mine doesn't seem to work like that. I'll probably have to get it replaced some day.....

Thats how my Torino works ( and most older cars), not sure on the 66, I have the handles off right now

Got that RH door fixed! It's still there getting worked on. Looks better with it not being tied to the steering wheel!

I have no idea. Since she no longer has any $ to play with, might be a couple of months. It's fine though. Gives me time to think up the next buys & stuff.

Does the body have much rust? They could be a whole project in itself for these cars.

Look forward to giving ya some!! There's a guy that hangs out @ my mechanic's. He's redoing a Charger. He thinks it being custom painted by Ford makes it kinda rare. He said worth more, but what does that even mean? They will never get rid of it. To me, more rare. What do you think? Thanks!!

The RH rear blinker does not work. I hoped it would be just the bulb b/c the LH works fine. Nope, my mechanic says it is more than that. I'll worry about this later on. I'm just tickled pink that the door closes the correct way!!

The color is is now isn't custom, but I think I recall you saying that it was orginally painted a different color? Since it's not that color now then I don't know that it would increase the value of that car? But then I'm kind of new to these old Mustangs.

Sorry, forgot to say I hope she goes back to the original color. I hope to get it as close to how he bought it as I can. Probably won't be able to, sounds good though. Thanks!!
