Tried some different wheels on the 68

Got a wild hair yesterday afternoon and decided to see what the 68 would like with some modern 17" wheels. The 8x17s have more backspace but fit just fine. I ran out of time before I tried the fronts and don't know if I will have clearance issues.

I like the way it looks. The tire profile is almost the same between the 2 with the 17s being wider. What do you guys think?

They look pretty good, but I think a set of 17x8 satin finished or even chrome / polished bullitts would look great on there.

I usually don't like wheels over 15" on the classics.
I have to admit it though, those look pretty good.

Rob, The Mach's wheels and tires look great on the fastback! I sure hope you end up keeping your 68. I really do like it. Maybe we can partner up and help each other out on fixing up our fastbacks. Give me a shout sometime.
