Help me pick next rims for 69 Coupe

I currently have 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels with spinners that my cats urinated on the rims and ruined. The car is in storage but I am thinking of pulling it out and trying to keep it running full time. If I do this then I need new rims. I am torn between putting another set of 15x7 Magnum 500s or 15x7 American Racing Torq-Thrust II polished aluminum rims. What do you think?

Magnums. Torque thrusts seem to be a dime a dozen yet they don't look that amazing... Magnums though... timeless.

Even though only the Bosses had them and Torq-Thrusts (the original gray ones at least) have been around since the '50s...

I vote for the Torq-Thrusts...I think they look great, the Magnums are kinda dark, the Torqs really stand out.

Haha.. back in 1990 when I got those spinners I thought they were sweet. I look at them now and scratch my head. At least I still have the original center caps. The pony center caps take about 10 seconds to steal though where as the spinners bolt from the back of the rim. Someone has tried to steal the spinners by hitting them and couldn't get them off.

Ok. I am going to go with the Magnum 500s. Right now I have 15x7s on there. Any reason to go to 16s? Anyone know if the 16 and 17 in versions use the same size center section as the 14 and 15 inchers or if it is larger to match the larger overall rim size?

Thanks!

I was thinking that the 69 GT steel styled wheels (chromed) would look nice on this car. It would give you the bling of chrome but the stock look. I think both magnums and torques have been overused and are dead common (but they still look nice)... Here is a pic of my 68 with the wheels. At least it's another option and you don't need the GT center caps. Maybe the all chrome stock ones or even something more unique. Just a thought.

I say magnum

I think on a coupe they look better, my 69 is a fastback and the torq-IIs would be better
