Too Quiet... Maybe this will get some discussion.
Ah the infamous Miatastang.
I am of the opinion that if you want a classic Mustang, don't think for a minute that this is a reasonable substitute. That said, I'd have a hard time turning one down if it had an EFI 5.0/T-5 swapped into it. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, even faster with a modified 5.0.
I think this thing is alot better than that abortion of a car, the GB Mustang, based off of Fox body 'verts. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/1999/12...ang/index.shtml

You don't hear much about 5.0 Monster Miatas anymore. I never drove one, or even saw one, but it seemed like a good idea. The Miata is a great little car to drive, but the stock engine has NO torque. You have to keep it at 4000 rpm to make it drivable. But with a poweradder, I've seen them pass 5.0 Mustangs on the backstretches of Open Track events.
But as far as the subject car goes, nah don't like it at all.

I pulled up the Miatastang because I had never seen their "production model" which is what I attached, only saw photos of their "concept" model. There's a market for everything a I guess.
Mber, the 5.0 conversions are still out there... they are absolute monsters in every sense. The other hot swap that is gaining some ground is the V8 Focus.
