Ah the infamous Miatastang.

I am of the opinion that if you want a classic Mustang, don't think for a minute that this is a reasonable substitute. That said, I'd have a hard time turning one down if it had an EFI 5.0/T-5 swapped into it. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, even faster with a modified 5.0.

I think this thing is alot better than that abortion of a car, the GB Mustang, based off of Fox body 'verts. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/1999/12...ang/index.shtml

Ah yes, the miatastang. Neat concept, but the proportions just seemed "wrong" to me...

You don't hear much about 5.0 Monster Miatas anymore. I never drove one, or even saw one, but it seemed like a good idea. The Miata is a great little car to drive, but the stock engine has NO torque. You have to keep it at 4000 rpm to make it drivable. But with a poweradder, I've seen them pass 5.0 Mustangs on the backstretches of Open Track events.

But as far as the subject car goes, nah don't like it at all.

You'll have to come up with a MOBETTER idea than that one. ..

I pulled up the Miatastang because I had never seen their "production model" which is what I attached, only saw photos of their "concept" model. There's a market for everything a I guess.

Mber, the 5.0 conversions are still out there... they are absolute monsters in every sense. The other hot swap that is gaining some ground is the V8 Focus.

I'm all out of mobetter ideas. However, if I post a pic of my car on a race track can I claim to be a suspension expert?

It almost looks like one of the Muscle Machines cartoon cars. It would be okay as a toy, but it gives me the ******* as a 1:1 car.

I used to own a car (which will remain nameless) that I did a 4 banger to V-8 swap. Believe me, it kills the handling! You can't put big enough suspension components in it to correct it. A Miata with a turbo or SC is a much better solution, although that wouldn't really sound right in the car that is the subject of this post, would it?
